140-Character Limit Removed For Twitter Direct Messages in Engagor

Last week, Twitter removed the 140-character limit from their Direct Messages. This change is another big step in making the private side of Twitter more powerful to engage with your customers on social media. As a consequence, we have now rolled out this feature in Engagor.

Direct Messages allow you to have private conversations with your customers. They are a great way to take a conversation privately and, for example, pass on personal information and dive more into detail about a specific question or complaint. As of now, when you reply to Direct Messages in our inbox, you will be able to easily engage with your customers without feeling restrained because of the character limit. As for the public side of Twitter, tweets will continue to be the 140 characters they are today.
