Buzzing at Webwinkel Vakdagen: Social, Shopping 2020 and SEO

Webshops are booming business and Holland is fully aware of that. The previous two days Webwinkel Vakdagen (“webshop days”) welcomed thousands of people that wanted to learn more on webshops and everything related to it. How do you set up a successful webshop, how about marketing, social media, logistics? To all those questions Webwinkel Vakdagen provided an answer with numerous exhibitors and presentations.

Engagor was there and monitored all conversations Webwwinkel Vakdagen generated on the social web. We had a look at which concepts caused most buzz with the visitors of #WWV14.

It turned out social media took pole position! Social media and webshops are a match made in heaven. Where else than on social media would webshops find and retain their customers?

Shopping2020 follows in second position. At Webwinkel Vakdagen the results of Shopping 2020 were released, a research program by 16 industry associations about the state of e-commerce 7 years from now. SEO also turned out to be a buzzing concept. It has been with us for quite some time but clearly there’s still many companies that want to learn more about it.
