Clarabridge, an emerging leader in text mining software, announced that Clarabridge BI SearchTM has been named a “Trendsetting Product” for 2006 by KMWorld Magazine.

Clarabridge BI Search™ unlocks information stored in business intelligence tools to a broader set of users through an intuitive search interface that seamlessly integrates with all major BI tools and incorporates a sophisticated relevance and clustering engine. The product deploys in days, supports the existing user security, and seamlessly integrates into broader enterprise search architecture. Additionally, the product’s increased user self-service reduces the burden on IT call centers and eliminates the added expense of training. By allowing users to easily find reports that already exist, the solution reduces the creation of redundant reports, ultimately decreasing the strain on the IT infrastructure.

KMWorld’s selection jury included members of its editorial team, industry analysts and document management product users, ranging from C-level executives to entry-level records management workers. Together they developed a list of 2006’s trend-setting products.

“We are pleased to acknowledge Clarabridge for its vision toward the future. There is great appeal for businesses to have a solution that plugs into current BI tools, assigns user privileges and then points at your content to enable users to search it,” said Hugh McKellar, KMWorld’s Editor-in-Chief. “Clarabridge’s search solution breaks down the barriers between a company’s current BI investments without the added expenditure of hardware, software, and training.”

KMWorld’s panel evaluated more than 200 vendors and over 1,200 products. As in past years, the criteria considered for selection were usability, flexibility, adoption rate and total cost of ownership.

“To be by recognized by KMWorld as a trendsetter is truly an honor,” said Sid Banerjee, CEO and Chairman of Clarabridge. “It is extremely rewarding to see such immediate market recognition.”
